Illustrated with engravings by Dalziel Brothers. 8vo. Original blue illustrated cloth. Recased. Bierce's first and third book which he wrote while in England from 1872 to 1875 before returning to San Francisco. Each volume has the bookplate of Barry Humphries, bibliophile and creator of Dame Edna Everage.
